  • What kind of security do you have?

    Most storage facilities use typical latches that accommodate regular padlocks.  The problem is that padlocks can be cut with a simple pair of bolt cutters.  We take your security seriously so we use a unique locking mechanism that can’t be cut with bolt cutters.  We provide you with a “cylinder” lock that fits inside our unique latches rendering bolt cutters useless.  As a bonus, we even supply the cylinder lock at no cost to you.  All we ask is that you return it when you leave.

  • Do you have problems with condensation in your units?

    No.  Even though they are not humidity-controlled units (we don’t remove any humidity from the open air), we don’t have problems with condensation building up inside the units.  All our units use wood interior structure and a vapor barrier on the underside of the roof.  All this limits condensation normally associated with storage units using metal interior walls.  And because concrete floors can draw moisture, we recommend putting your items in plastic totes or putting some barrier under cardboard boxes or mattresses, something such as pallets or a plastic tarp as added protection

  • Do you have 24-hour access?

    Yes, all our units have 24/7 access.  Each location is enclosed by chain link fence with barb wire on the top.  And each customer gets their own unique entry “code” to the electronic gate.  This way you can come and go as you please and are not limited by our scheduling.

  • When are rent payments due?

    All rents are due on the first of the month, but to help with customers varying income schedules, we give a five (5) day grace period.  This means rents are due on the first of the month, but you have until the 5th of the month to pay without any penalties.

  • How much would I need to move in?

    The price to move in depends on what size unit you choose. Prices are listed under the “Sizes” tab above. When you move in, you pay for the first month plus the $25 refundable security deposit. The rental rate listed on the “Sizes” tab already has sales tax built in, so you don’t have to worry about that. And since all rents are due on the first of the month (we also provide a 5-day grace period to pay without any penalty), if you move in any day other than the first day of the month, we prorate your second month to accommodate this. For example, if you move in on the 15th of a month, you pay for a full month up front, and would only owe for 1/2 a month’s rent the second month. Thereafter, the monthly rent would be the stated rate in your Lease Agreement.

  • What do you do for pest control?

    While mice occur in all parts of the world, we don’t like them in our storage units.  We are proactive with our preventative pest control methods and have bait stations on all four sides of every storage building and regularly fill them with a variety of mice/rat control substances.  By rotating the control substance, we reduce the possibility that the mice will become resistant to the control substance.  We also put our control substance in a bait station to reduce the chance of pets getting into the poison.  We put out enough poison to kill half the mice in Marion County.  But sometimes this still isn’t enough because people bring food substances into their storage units and unfortunately the mice like food better than our poison.  As always, we ask that you do not store ANY FOOD in the storage units, for everybody’s protection.

  • Can I pay online?

    This will take you to a U-Haul Account screen.  Don’t mind that it says U-Haul, this is correct.  This is a secure site, and they process our on-line payments.


    Once on this page, use the Account Sign In section and simply enter the e-mail address you provided us and the “password” (sometimes called the “receipt number”) that we sent to your e-mail.  Once you have successfully logged into your account, you can change the password to something you can easily remember.

  • Do you offer mobile storage services?

    We now have COWs mobile storage containers for your benefit!

    We can drop a container off at your location, you can fill it up at your leisure, you call us when it’s loaded, and we deliver it to your new location!  It’s that simple.  No trucks to rent or drive, no fuel or insurance for a rented truck, no worry about the weather during your “one day” move. Take your time filling up the mobile container and let us move it for you.

    We even have relationships with local movers to help you save money.  Utilize the professionals to load and unload the heavy items, and you load and unload all the smaller items at your leisure.  This way you only pay for services you need.  Either way, we will place the container at your location and move it to your new location for you.  You just call us when you want it moved and you only pay for the days you use the unit.  It’s that simple.


    You can also use the containers to help “de-clutter” your home while you try to sell it.  The container can be placed at your house, so you still have convenient access to your items, but they are out of the way for showing the house to prospective buyers.  And then when the house sells, we can move the container to your new location, and you can unload there at your convenience.


    Another use is if you are doing renovations to your home.  New carpet, painting, remodeling, room additions, etc.  We can place a container at your home, and you clean out the space being renovated. When work is complete, you simply move your items back into your house and we take the container away.


    Contractors may be interested in using the containers to store their materials while they work on job sites.


    And if you have longer term storage needs, we can use the mobile containers to move your contents into our month-to-month mini storage units.  Again, we place the container at your location, you load it up, call us when you are ready, and we can place it close to your mini storage unit for you to unload at your convenience. Just call us when you are done, and we will take the container away.  You can even use the help of professional movers with this service as well.
